The STS-6741 is a fixed 4G/LTE emergency phone that places a direct 911 call and delivers a land-locked, dispatchable civic location through the national E911/NG911 backbone. It does not depend on analog POTS, a monitoring center, or a caller’s GPS. As the serving carrier and the local PSAP complete NG911 Phase 1/2, the same call and the same location record ride the ESInet.
- Associate a valid physical address and pool name with each endpoint
- Support direct 911 dialing on handset lift — no prefix, no auto-attendant, no delay
- Transmit dispatchable location details (property name, address, callback) to first responders
- Handset operation for counties that prohibit autodial pool phones
Without these features, the property is not meeting federal 911 policy (including RAY BAUM’s Act / FCC dispatchable-location rules) or NG911 compliance requirements.
